Shipping & Returns Policy

Delivery-

We normally dispatch goods same working day if order received before 2.0pm, we use a 24 hour carrier. However, more remote locations can have an expected delivery of within 2-4 working days (UK mainland). Delivery is normally by Nightspeed or a suitable carrier for the location of the delivery address. Choice of carrier will depend on the weight of order and location. Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to achieve any delivery or other date, all dates being estimates only.

Shipping Charges –
It will be necessary to apply an additional surcharge of 21.00GBP to some deliveries depending on the location. The postal codes incurring the surcharge are AB1 to AB56, BT1 to 94, G8 4, all HS and IV post codes, KA26 to KA28, PA20 to PA88, PH5 to PH44 and ZE1 to ZE3. We deliver goods to mainland UK, any products required elsewhere will probably require an additional carriage charge.Our product range covers a large range of equipment including, MIG welders, Trolley Jacks, Air Compressors, and Air Tools. Shipping charges are calculated based on location, weight of the product including packaging, or volumetric weight. Extra delivery costs may apply to offshore and remote areas. In certain cases shipping prices quoted and/or charged may later be found to be insufficient to cover the costs of shipping orders. If this is the case we will contact you before shipping to inform you of any additional charges, you will then have the option of either paying these extra charges or of cancelling your order. Certain items such as large equipment might need to be delivered on a palette, in this situation a palette delivery costs will apply. Large orders, multiply items might also be shipped on a palette this can on occasions reduce the costs of delivery.

Undeliverable Orders –
Orders that have been correctly despatched to the shipping address as supplied by the Customer, and which are subsequently returned to Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd as undeliverable, whether by courier or postal service, are subject to a maximum refund of the value of the products ordered only, (not including shipping costs). Furthermore, the customer is also liable to pay any applicable return postage costs, as well as make further payment for re-shipment should this be required. To avoid this situation, you are strongly advised to double check that the shipping address you provide for your order is accurate.

Cancellation –
If you are a UK customer, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 7 days of receipt. E-mail: sales@jawel.co.uk Tel: 0121-558-6191. If you wish to exercise your right to cancel, you must also take good care of the products until you return them and ship the product to us. All items must be returned unused in their original packaging and in a saleable condition. All returns must be well packaged to protect items from damage in transit. Any damage that occurs in transit will be deemed to be the responsibility of the customer and any costs arising from this will be for the customers account. All returns should be sent using an insured postal service. We do not accept proof of postage as proof of delivery. Any order placed that has been correctly supplied by Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd and is subsequently not required can be returned to us unused, subject to a restocking fee of 20%. In this instance, the customer must pay cost of return carriage. Any order placed for standard stock items may be cancelled prior to despatch without any penalty. Special Orders or non-stock items, specifically ordered for you and cannot be resold, cannot be cancelled.

Returns –
No product may be returned for any reason without the prior approval of Jawel Paints (West Midlands)Ltd.The Customer is responsible for returning products at their risk and expense. Prior to returning products the Customer must obtain a Returns Note from Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd. The Customer must ship the products in the original packaging, prepaid and insured, with details of the returns note supplied by Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd. When returning goods, please state your full name and address and details of the returns note and original delivery note. Any order returned to us without this information will be refused. You have until the expiry of seven working days, starting with the day after the products are delivered, to exercise this right. If you exercise your right to return a product, any money you have paid for your order will be refunded excluding carriage and your expense of returning the products.

Faulty products –
Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd does its best to ensure that your order is supplied correctly and with all items in good working order, if in the unlikely event that any goods are found to be faulty or supplied incorrectly, we will be happy to send you a replacement as soon as is possible. Please note though that we will require payment for any replacement items sent out prior to return/receipt of the original item to Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd. Shipping charges for replacement items will be covered by Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd, furthermore you will be refunded for your postal/shipping costs incurred in returning the faulty/incorrect items to Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd.Please note that once you have been issued with a returns note, goods to be returned should be despatched promptly via insured delivery service to Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd at the address provided below. All goods to be returned MUST be returned within 14 days of issue of the returns note. Any goods not returned within a 14-day period following issue of your returns note may be subject to additional charges or in certain circumstances become non-refundable. All returns along with the necessary returns note: – Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd 313-315 Heath Street Smethwick West Midlands B66 2QY Any products returned to Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd shall become the property of Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd. If Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd determines that failure of the product(s) was not a result of a defect in materials or workmanship within the terms of the manufacturers warranty, Jawel Paints (West Midlands) Ltd reserves the right to charge Customer for the parts. Seller will advise the Customer prior to assessing these charges.
