Jawel Paints Satin Clear Finish Lacquer is a professional-grade clearcoat lacquer engineered for superior clarity, exceptional satin finish, and robust surface protection. Formulated as a 2:1 mix with a matching hardener, this lacquer is ideal for automotive refinish applications and other projects requiring a resilient, satin finish.

This advanced lacquer delivers easy application characteristics, excellent flow with minimal sagging, and the ability to be air dried or force cured for faster turnaround. It is suitable for use over fully cured solvent or water-based basecoats and sanded, degreased existing coats.

Technical Specifications

Recommended Application

1. Surface Prep: Ensure substrate is clean, fully dry, and properly sanded.

2. Mixing: Combine with the appropriate Jawel Paints MS hardener at a 2:1 ratio. Optionally thin with up to 10 % lacquer thinner for desired spray viscosity.

3. Spray Setup: HVLP, high-efficiency, or pressure pot gun settings as recommended for acrylic lacquer systems (typical nozzle 1.2–1.4 mm).

4. Coating: Apply 2 medium wet coats to achieve a dry film of approx. 50–60 µm.

5. Curing: Allow appropriate flash and dry times depending on ambient or forced drying conditions.
