Valspar Prospray PSC-7000 Universal Clear is a professional 2K high-build acrylic clear coat designed for automotive refinishing. Developed for overall, spot and panel repairs, PSC-7000 delivers a high-gloss finish with excellent flow and levelling, helping achieve a smooth, professional-looking result.

Its versatile formulation provides excellent application properties across a variety of working environments, while its resistance to shrinkage and fading helps maintain the appearance of the finished repair. Advanced UV filters and absorbers help the high-gloss finish retain its appearance for longer.

Professional Automotive Clear Coat

PSC-7000 Universal Clear is designed for use over Prospray basecoat and properly prepared sanded OEM finishes in good condition.

The clear coat is mixed at a 3:1 ratio with M.S. Activator, with 0–10% thinner used as required. It is normally applied in 2–3 medium-wet coats, with a recommended 5–10 minute flash-off between coats.

Fast Air or Force Drying

For added productivity, PSC-7000 can be either air dried or force dried. At 20°C, the product is approximately dust-free after 30 minutes, dry to handle after 5 hours and dry to polish after approximately 6 hours. When force dried at 60°C, dry-to-tape time is approximately 20–30 minutes and dry-to-polish time approximately 25 minutes.
